Turned computer on after two days off, the monitor will not come on i have tried two of them both previously worked now neither do, flatscreen says no signal old monitor nothing please any advice?

Where would i be likely to find such a switch
connected jumper cap to clear CMOS but still no joy with the monitor, all else seems to be connected fine???????
Yes back in original place now
from computer yes screen no
