i dont like new cars or piston engines i like gas turbine engines and i don't know of that many things that use them but here is one. the faster you go the more torque you have so they had to put a governor on it to stop it from breaking its own drive train.

http://www.techspot.com/vb/attachmen...1&d=1213482598

engine: i dont know much i think it has 1500hp its the same engine as a cobra helicopter its a gas turbine umm you fill in the rest
weight: 69tons or 138,000lbs so i thank that's 62.5957 kg and 62.6 metric tones
top speed: 45mph with governor or i think that's what its called without it over 60mph
price: last time i herd it was about 6 million dollars
tires: it has tracks

advantages
#1 you cant get stuck in traffic
#2 if you get in a race you can blow up the road so you opponent cant get to the finish line
#3 its a tank
#4 you cant flatten its tires
#5 it can be fitted with a mine sweeper so that if the person your racing happens to drop mines in front of you you can drive threw them
#6 it has a gas turbine engine that howls instead of purring
#7 its a tank!!! what else do you need to know
#8 if you loose a race you can make sure the opponents car wont ever race again
#9 if someone takes your parking space you can park on top of them
#10 ittssss a taaaaaannnnnkkkk!!!!!!!!!!
#11 it usually runs on jet fuel but if you cant find any at the gas station you can run it on almost anything combustible like perfume or scotch
#12 it has built in night vision so you can blow up your neighbors lawnmower at 2:00am
#13 it has awesome suspension
#14 it looks awesome and its huge

6 million, is that with the ammo and ablative armor? Can you get it in a hybrid?

no that's just the standard model but you don't need it to be a hybrid you if you can run it on almost anything combustible. so that's anything from hydrogen to jet fuel even most if not any flammable alcohol like ummm i don't know you think of some flammable beverages. im not sure but i think it gets 1/8 of a mile to the gallon and takes 11 gallons to start the engine so who needs a hybrid with that kind of millage!!!
and im not sure what you say when you mean ablative armor but it can be outfitted with reactive armor so it can take a bunch of missile hits and all you would have to do is put some new panels on. if you only buy a few rounds you can just steal your fuel from the gas station.

And on the topic of cars, anyone seen this guys car collection, Hassanal Bolkiah the Sultan of Brunei

the looks pretty cool but i found something almost as good as the tank. look at these videos of it

i know it doesn't look as fast as all those cars but if a gas turbine engine gets more torque the faster it goes that i wonder how fast it could go in a ten mile stretch.

i love gas turbine engines!!! now if they put a chinook engine which i think has 3000hp inside of a Lamborghini or a Porsche or Ferrari or the McLaren F1 or maybe 2 of them in an older mustang than i would have voted something other than They're all a piece of crap made out of metal but they havnt yet so i would gladley choose this or a the Abrams any day!

I ´ve never liked Ferreris, I always expect a pimp come out when I see one parking. That Ferrari is owned by FIAT doesn´t make it better - lol.

Lamborghinis look delicious and since Audi "owns that label" it´s quality has also become better I think.

I would choose a Porsche by Gemballa - the GEMBALLA AVALANCHE GTR:

what a car ;-)

And for every day I´d choose a BMW M3 by Hartge:

Carerra is one of the legally fast stock cars you can buy. My uncle, who happens to be Cris Carter, retired football player let me drive his earlier this year in march.

Although I'm a fan of fast cars I love classic cars too. :P

I really love the BMW M series.
Of course these are no supersport cars like a F40 or a GT3, but I have once had the opportunity do have a ride on a BMW M5 on Nuerburgring Nordschleife in Sabine Schmitz´s Ring Taxi (the only woman who ever did win the 24 hours of Le Mans) and those M models really kick ***.
If you ever come to the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany and you like Motorsports you NEED to try !

The car in front is the old M5 Ring Taxi, the video car is a Porsche.
