windows comes in o.k. then when you go to do somethingthe screen slips and jumps all over the place....is this a software problem or mechanical....thanks philthyphil

well, 1st check you have optimum resolution and refresh rate for your monitor. Or at least change it to the minimum settings, say 640x480 16 bit colour. See if the problem persists. If it goes away then it may be drivers not fully supporting the higher resolutions and refresh rates

this may seem a stupid question ..where do I go to check optimum resolution and how....p/c has been perfectly o.k. up until now7-8 months...just seemed to happen overnight...mind you the kids use it and could have mucked around and havent said anything....thanks....philthyphil
