one of my friend brought me a ACER INSPIRE 5100 laptop from US, configuration are AMD xp 1.7 Ghz , 1Gb Ram, Hitachi 160 Gb Hdd, 15' display, Ati radeon 1100 onboard, pioneer Dvd RW with vista preinstalled, what i like to know is, as far as i know, no website had toplisted ACER LAPTOPS, the incovenience are battery life is not more that 2hour 15min even it as set to power saver mode, loading & shutting down time takes more than pc, give me your valuble suggestions about this.

I sell laptops in the UK and tend to sell more Acer than anything else. They have proved to be very reliable although I would not have one with Vista unless it was a top spec model as it will make it slow. This is true of all laptops, however.
