Temp confusion
Hello,
I just ran speedfan for the first time and, this being my first CPU with more than 1 core (Q6600), I'm a bit confused over the temp readings. I have a CPU temp, which is fine, and I have Core 0, 1, 2 and 3 temps, which are also fine. I'm guessing they are the separate core temps. But I also have a temp reading which is just labeled "Core". I thought this would be the CPU temp but I have a separate reading for that so I'm not sure what it means. So basically I want to know what the "Core" temp means if it doesn't mean CPU? Thanks, Tom |
