I need to create a torrent using Utorrent (of my own created art) that I can send to friends and family, not upload to a website, but when I did everything as normal in creating it, using my regular trackers, etc, and sent it to them, their utorrent says no seeders even though I am seeding.

Is there some special alternate procedure so that I can send a created torrent to someone directly without uploading it to a site?

I've never created a torrent myself but if your one has a tracker then you should be able to send the created .torrent file to whoever you want to send it to and then they can download it.

Another way to do it is to upload your files in a .zip or .rar file and upload them to a site like megaupload.com, although they have a file size limit of 500MB so if it's larger than this you'll have to make a few zip files.
