Flash 8 versus Flash 2.0
Please help me. I have Macromedia Flash 8 installed on my computer and I was working with some files on a MAC with a version of Flash 2.0 I saved the files (flash document) onto a flash drive and then tried to open them on my PC in the flash 8 version and it gave me an error that said unexpected file format? How can I open these files up? Flash Movie files open up. Please help. Is the version 2.0 not compatible with Flash 8? Is there anyway around this?
Thanks |

I highly doubt flash 8 would recognise flash 2 files. The movie files are completely different and can be emulated... but the fla files may be too complex.
sorry head over to a flash website like flashkit and try their forums. They may no some tricks to help recover it. Last edited by be_patient; 12-19-2007 at 02:45 AM.. |
