Hi everyone, I know this sounds stupid, but I has a USB "Issue" and its traced to 98se, so I thought it would be good to post here.

Above is a link to the apple boards where I first posted this problem. "everythingdaniel" is me.
Problem is, the computer wont let me charge my iPod.
It runs 98se and it doesn't charge when plugged in.
If I run a live disk of Ubuntu, it charges.
So the above tells me that it is not a bios problem, or a hardware problem
It is a 98se problem.
So the question is, what does XP and Ubuntu have with USB support that 98se does NOT have? Is their a fix for this?
Other then the iPod not charging, the USB works perfectly, flash drives and keyboards have no problems....
Thanks For Any Help!
