i know u guys have answered this one before so im sorry to bother you with it again... the code 0x0000009c only comes up when i play a online game for awhile.. check the temp of my cpu and everything seemed fine...the part that im not fully understanding is after i log outa the game its all good untill the screen saver comes on...any ideas?? i know i prob sound like a ***** and im sorry to bother you

i ended up finding a great disk called the ultimate boot disk! has everything from memtest down to the programs for testing my harddrive and cpu! well the good part is no errors were found. i did try and put a used hard drive in as a slave. i removed it so im hopeing that took care of the error. thanks for your help!

If the used harddrive has any issues (ie bad spots or slow)
This could have caused the problem.

Please let us know the outcome, now that it is removed.

so far its been a few days and no more blue screen.. so i'm almost sure it was the slave. ty for the help
