computer information systems major

Hi, next fall I will be starting college and the major i will be going into is CIS-computer information systems. As i want to be in a career as a programmer, systems anylast, information systems manager or something along those lines. Now I love computers but i hate math. I mean basic math or even a little algebra is ok but calculus and the higher maths i just plain hate. heres a question for anyone who majored in CIS or any ralated major. Is math a heavy part of the curriculum? cause i hear that programmers need to take heavy math courses. thanks

It depends on the school. Typically the math requirements for a CIS degree are fairly light though. You might also consider Management Information Systems (MIS).
