I am now able to play Oblivion on highest settings (though i don't put on AA and AF as I doubt the graphics return would be worth the frame-rate drop) but it annoys me that 50 metres ahead the land still turns in to patchy, low res gunk, even with draw distances on maximum.

I was wondering if anyone knows of good mods for making the graphics quality better (im sure ive read about some) or even just increasing the draw distances

Unfortunately my time has been hyjacked by a game called Bioshock, it may be a while before I get back to oblivion.

Bioshock makes you wonder why you ever wasted your time playing any other games.

Yeah it's pretty good. Up there with the best games i've ever played

Bioshock is my all time favorite 1st person shooter... Crysis is amazing looking, but isn't a better game overall IMO.
