i got a dell latitude D620 and lost the stuff for it when i moved i had to reformat and the dam thing's locked i need the master bios password i tried callin dell they told me to call micro soft and then they told me to call dell can someone help me please!!!

can you explain this a little more? what is locked?
a d620 does not lock itself when it gets re-installed a windows operating system. if there was a password protection (system password or hdd password) before it is still the same!

Can the DELL d620 be unlocked by shorting?

dell D620 cant be unlocked with shorting method, only remote password.
