Laptop Heat problem
this few days encountered that the underneath of laptop, the RAM area, it's pretty hot when i use my palm touched it.
i was curious it was cause from the RAM, and there's a small case with screw on it, just wanna ask if i opened the case let it have a better air flow, doesnt it effect my laptop....rr some other issues . Last edited by dannydy; 01-20-2008 at 02:43 AM.. |

The heat is from the CPU (located near your ram it seems)
You should notice a fan at the back of your laptop (hopefully working) But this hot (not boiling hot) feel, is quite normal for most laptops. |

Yap,the processing fan is working, just bought this laptop,it's not that hot as boiling hot.
just wanna to open it up cause while i'm playing game then it wont be that hot. |

Leave the covers on. You can purchase a platform that the laptop can sit on that cools the laptop with fans (That was a long way of saying, I don't know what it's called !) These things do exist. The Hot, actually yes very hot feel, is normal. |

ok, for what you said is cooler pad right?
i;ve a cooler pad with fully aluminum, three fans. Anyway thanks for you comments. |
