Does anyone know how to blacklist phone number we don't want to receive call or sms on Nokia 6300?
Come to think of it does such thing exist?

Only your provider, may do that. And they won't.

All you can do, is call screening, so you know who is calling, and not answer it.
Or change your phone number, and don't give it out.

usually you can block INCOMING CALLS

do this for awhile and the party that's bugging you will get the message

Thank you guys for the suggestion. How do you do this incoming call blocking? I can't keep on rejecting the call every few minute. What about sms? Is there any way we can block that?

inbound call blocking is a phone setting -- see your setups on the phone itself.

SMS is locked or unlocked and the phone doesn't operate at all unless unlocked.

(this is obviously a GSM style phone)

You can block all incoming calls whit symbian mobiles phones sms i dont no
You can serch on google for a program call blacklist =)

And doesnt mater if phone isn't on list

6300 is s40 3rd edition dont use symbian but you can try to find software for that plataform =(

Here are some GSM codes:

To block incoming calls send:
*35*your_barring_code#

To UNblock:
#35*your_barring_code#

To block incoming SMS send:
*35*your_barring_code*16#

To UNblock incoming SMS send:
#35*your_barring_code*16#

Note: your divert/forwarding services must be inactive, otherwise the given commands will fail

As an option, you can check java versions of blacklists

ps. the default barring code is 0000
