Hello!
I have recently built a brand new PC from the ground up, I am now at the point of installing a new OS, in this instance Windows XP Pro SP3. I was able to format and install the OS when booting from the disc, then it was fine booting by itself to complete the installation, then finally trying to boot up windows to use and i get the blue screen of death with the error message:
STOP: 0x0000007B (0xBACC3524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
I tried placing the hard drive in a separate working PC that was already running Windows XP and booting it there, same problem, I then booted the other PC normally with the new hard drive as a secondary, booted fine, then ran error checking and chkdsk, all turned out fine apparently. As the hard drive is new I doubt it is nearing the end of its life like other people have written. I have also tried reformatting it using the latest stable version of GParted Live CD yet the problem remains. Please help me, it would be a shame to see the computer null when I'm so close to completing it.
