I am planning on building a decent gaming rig with my tax return next year. My budget is around $1000 but could change (Depends on what the boss [wife] says...lol). I am hoping that all of these parts will work well together. Here it is:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE 3.4Ghz ~ $189.99

Motherboard: Asus Crosshair III Formula ~ $199.99

RAM: G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1600 ~ $95.99

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 ~ $164.99

PSU: Raidmax Hybrid 2 730W Modular ~ $69.98

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue ~ $69.99

Disk Drive: MSI 24x DVD Burner ~ $34.99

Case: XCLIO Windtunnel ATX Full Tower ~ $89.99

Total Price= $915.91

I am hoping that all of this will be sufficiently powered by the 730W PSU. I am thinking so, but not positive. Will be getting another 5770 after awhile for CrossFireX setup. I am sure that pricing will be very different in the several months between now and tax season, but will just bump some parts to better ones if I can stay in the same range. Do you folks think this build will be pushing some high frame rates?
