1.40GB of RAM on Windows 7 64-bit

i have windows 7 64bit and it's using up to 1.40 of RAM with only chrome. Is this ok? or do i have a problem?

Its likely fine, Windows Vista and 7 use Superfetch, which basically loads up commonly used programs in the background so they load faster when you launch them. What you want to pay attention to is the amount of Available RAM. If you see that dropping near or to 0 then its time for more RAM.


Edit: Finally at home where I can check what my system looks like.

As above. Mine hovers between 1.3-1.4GB of RAM used just running the aero desktop, and with firefox running. It doesn't really change from that either, until I start gaming.
