1st install win xp pro

    Just partitioned and formatted my new homebuilt's hardrive,
    got the xp disc to boot. about half way thru I get 2 errors.

    1- setup cannot copy the file oledbvbs.in_., so I elected to continue

    2- " " " " " sv2512.pn_ , and continued again.

    Is this because it's a new HDD.

    Am I going to have problems leaving it as is.

    I have a feeling it's either your CD or your optical drive. Do you have another optical drive on this machine? If so maybe you can try installing from the other one.
