2 boot choices

when I start windows, i get two boot choices, both for Windows xp professional. The first one goes to the windows I installed, the second one gives me a hall.dll error. I've been getting a lot of blue screens telling me "bad pool caller". How do I get rid of the second option, if that is what is causing the blue screens?

well, that fixed my boot problem, but it didn't help with the problem I thought was connected to it: The Blue Ray drive. I left a post about this yesterday, but no one replied. It's under Dell Blue Ray drive problem. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!
