2 HIPS programs running concurrently

hello,

I know you should not run two antivirus programs in real time but I have read that anti-spyware programs, in real-time, do not conflict.

What about HIPS programs? My firewall, Online Armor, has HIPS built in. PC Magazine had lots of good things to say about ThreatFire. If I run the two simultaneously am I opening myself up to problems?

Normally it makes conflict when both are active on real time scanning but not every Firewall will do the same against others. So sometimes you may have two running simultaneously without causing any problem.

So try to Create a System Restore and try to use both on real time. If you get problem then you will need to choose and if there is nothing after about 2 to 3 hours then you may use both.
