Hi there,
I have a divx movie and 2 subtitles in srt format (french and english) which I would like to aplly both to the movie, so that i can choose either one during the movie.
Is there any way to do that, since the srt files have to have the same name as the movie, and you cannot have two srt files with the same name.
Thanks in advance

No, the srt files do not have to have the same name. It is a limitation of your video player software. Use something better ;)

You could also use a container format like Matroska that allows for several audio and subtitle streams..

i use media player classic... what do I have to use to get more than one sub working? also on my dvd player on TV? is it enough to just burn both srt on a cd?

MPC uses the VOBSub filter to show you subtitles. The filter is stupid :)

Try VLC for example - you can configure it to intelligently look for subtitle files that contain the movie title. So you can have sub files like Movie_en.srt and Movie_fr.srt and have them show up in the menu when you play Movie.avi
