You could piece together a new AM3 System for around $180 just for the Motherboard, Processor and Ram. That's just Assuming you already have the Case, PSU, Graphics Card, Hard Drive, and DVD Drive tho.

Boss, just get the Comp with the Dual-Core P4 and get a new Processor, Blind should know a bit more about a Core 2 Duo.Core 2 Quad Processors than I do.

Yep, if it's socket 775, then get that "dual core" P4 machine and for cheap you can get a respectable e8400 in the future. Even a q6600 or something.
