I found this what do u think

The CPU is already set in the motherboard with its fan. This combo will include 2GB of Crucial DDR2 PC6400 RAM. These items are used, but the CPU has been tested in the motherboard and everything still works beautifully. For more information on the components, see the following websites:

    or this

Experience a new world of dual-core computing with the 3.0GHz AMD Athlon X2 6000+. Every aspect of this processor was designed with speed and energy efficiency in mind. Dual cores reside on one chip and calculate data on two streams to increase speed while running multiple programs at once.

You’ll enjoy better multitasking for increased office productivity. The HyperTransport Technology can provide up to 16.0GB/s bandwidth to reduce system bottlenecks and this processor is ready for the 64bit operating systems.

Energy efficiency is important to AMD, allowing you to enjoy a cool, quiet PC while saving energy and reducing heat, noise and the effect of your computer on the environment. Energy efficiency innovations include Cool’n’Quiet and AMD CoolCore. These technologies reduce power consumption and processor activity. Add the convenience and power of multi-core processing and enjoy the benefits of energy efficiency with a 3.0GHz AMD Athlon 6000+

Its nice, but I didnt know P4s came in duals.
  5. Bossman Newcomer, in training

yes they do i just check
  6. magaman598 TechSpot Enthusiast

Boss, just get the Comp with the Dual-Core P4 and get a new Processor, Blind should know a bit more about a Core 2 Duo.Core 2 Quad Processors than I do.
  7. BlindObject Newcomer, in training

Yep, if it's socket 775, then get that "dual core" P4 machine and for cheap you can get a respectable e8400 in the future. Even a q6600 or something.
  8. Bossman Newcomer, in training

Ok i purchased the P4 machine and know i want to upgrade the CPU what do u think about this chip and is that a good price

    intel Q9550= Core2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz 1333MHz Socket 775 Quad-Core 45nm Processor = 169.99

    or can i do better
  9. Bossman Newcomer, in training

ya I know i started out with a 250 dollar buget
but I have this spending cash problem I am working on

UH...so how about some real specifications? Like what kind of processor exactly, what kind of RAM, how much RAM, video card, etc.

    Intel Pentum processor Q9550= Core2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz 1333MHz Socket 775 Quad-Core 45nm Processor

Graphics/Video Card- EVGA Nvidia GTX 260 OVERCLOCKED 896MB of onboard memory

    RAM/Memory- 4 Gigabytes PC-2 6400

    Motherboard- Gigabyte EP43-UD3L
Heat Sink- Coolermaster GEMENII with 5 copper heat pipes

Power Supply- Antec ATX 650 watts :( :("""""IS THIS ENOUGH POWER""""":(:(

Hard Drive- 640 Gigabytes SATA with a hard drive cooling fan

is that what you looking for Blind.

And where I got the Processor from??

The guy I purchased the PC from gave me the Number of his freind that helped him build the system and that guy is a hole seller and gave it to me at cost and said he would install it for free

And they say chivalry is dead...

He offered this before I invited them to my 800 acer hunting land next weekend all payed for by me .I feel its the least I can do
