3.0 Prescott problem with heat!!

    As the post above me says, get a new heatsink. My Prescott runs at 165F on load :stickout: !

    changed heatsink now runs at 51-55C idle, and runs 65-70C under heavy gaming load... hmmm lapping to maybe drop it a few degrees ?

    unsure of specs, a friend hooked me up, and yea thanks alot, sorry =s was rushed when i typed previous post, but thanks to all that helped.
