403 forbidden message

    Have you tried either rebooting (quick press of the reset button) or a factory reset (long press) the device?

    Well, yeah, sort of, since I was the one who started it. I have not gotten much response from this so I am trying all over for it. The guy on this site works with isy99 and he is going to do a remote to fix it for me. Thanks.

    Oops, sorry. I found the post, but never really looked at the user's name until just now. Have you tried updating the firmware?

    Pg 79 of the UG summarizes the network settings for both DHCP & Static IP addresses.

    As the default port is 80, you would also need port forwarding from your router to the device address, but that might cause browser problems (80 is the http port).

    And you would also need to allow port XX access via your firewall.

    Did you verify the entire network setup?

    The problem is solved. It was pretty technical to solve for me. A tech from UDI had to remote in to find it and he was with me for an hour and finally got it. Problem is I am not sure what he did to fix it but he said that is what he was for.
