open your sound manager & set it to 5.1 ch,then
    check the "speaker test".

click each speaker image & you should hear the
    sound coming from them (sub/center,front L/R,rear L/R).

are you using onboard sound or PCI sound card?

if you're using the onboard sound, does it support
    the 6 ch?(audio outputs).

what model is your motherboard (if onboard sound).
as well as your PCI sound card (if you have).

Confirm you have the most up-to-date drivers installed:

Please press the green button, and select your audio driver

Sorry, it seems you must do this twice, once here, then when you get to Asus support, click it again.
