    Hello,

I have recently upgraded my ram from 4GB to 8GB, but in the system information it shows that there is 8GB installed, 4GB total, and 6.5 GB available. Anyone know why it is saying I have more available than total?

Im not an expert, so the only thing I can think of is updating your BIOS to the latest version and checking the compatibility list online, other than that I can only tell you ASUS boards tend to be slightly picky with their memory.
