Hello,
I have been running XP 32 bit for a number of years with 4 gb RAM and i have learnt to live with that I only "see" 3,2 gb.
Now with GFX card coming out with 2gb of onboard memory is 64 bit OS starting to look more and more appealing.
One thing I am worried over though is driver support.
I have no doubts that VIsta (and Windows 7) is the future but I wonder what is the best today in terms of driver support; XP 64 bit or Vista 64bit?
It feels strange considering investing in "old" technology like XP but I can see my current XP has a few more years left in it, but it would be nice to be able to have more address space available, especially with the new gfx's cards etc coming out.
Any thoughts anyone?
Regard
jon
