Don't know exactly how or when, but caught signs of and infection the other day and after several fruitless attempts at removal, found and followed the 8 steps. Computer was loading a IE window from firefox (initially empty) so that pointed me to the Vundo trojan. After doing the steps, seems to have eliminated everything, but would really really appreciate a more professional opinion.
The two Malwarebytes logs are due to me running a quick scan first (oops).
