Hi. I'm new to this site. I've been having problems installing a nVidia 7600gt agp card I just bought. I was hoping you could help me out. I've read a couple post where you say this card is the best for my dell 8300. (psu 305) Heres my problem, after install i get a black screen saying "power save mode." I used the guide from afterdawn on how to delete previous card drivers and how to install this card. any advise will be helpful. Thank you, adtnsd.

I've also posted my problem in more detail on this site yesterday. (01-05-2009)
    the title is:7600gt install problems

sorry to post this on your thread but since I don't have enough points, the site won't let me private or visitor post yet.

The systems power supply might not be strong enough to support the new video card

hey thanks for the response Tmagic650. I've tried a standard psu of 400w. Still no luck. I'm stuck and don't know what to do. This is a 7600gt agp card. Do all 7600gt cards have the same agp voltage?
