    Hi everyone
I havent been able to find much info on the Radeon 9800 non-pro version, and I'd like to know if I'd be better off buying a 9600 pro 128 meg, or, a 9800 standard 256meg

    Thanks!

From what I've heard there is little performance difference between the two. I would just save a couple bucks and go with the 9600.

It depends on how you intend to use the card. If you like AA & AF, then by all means go with the 9800.

    For example, in UT2003 at 1600x1200 :

    9600 Pro : 58.1 FPS
    9800 : 66.7 FPS

Then you turn on 4x AA

    9600 Pro : 26.6 FPS
    9800 : 43.2 FPS

    It's your call.

    PS. Info taken from Beyond3D

*EDIT* I didn't see you went ahead & bought the 9800. Well then congrats.:grinthumb
