About Windows xp Media Center

Well i want to switch over from xp pro sp2 to media center xp 2005 sp2..will all my stuff be compatable with it or will i have a issue?thanks.

Xp Media Center is essentially XP Pro with MCE software with some of the Pro advanced networking functions limited.

Another way is it has the same compatibility of XP Home Edition with less networking restrictions / some of the XP functions.

It should be fine, I recently did the same thing. To be perfectly honest though, I think programs are a little more unstable in MCE than regular XP Pro. I haven't done any specific testing to back that up, I just know I've had a ton of problems with Opera 9.1 crashing, and I don't remember having such problems with XP Pro.
