  1. hi i have put my dads hard drive into my pc as a slave drive so i can get pictures and music off it etc, when logged onto windows (on my drive) i can access his drive in my computer, but i cant access his documents as he had a password on his account, i knw the password etc, so is there a way i can enter this so i can access it? at the moment it just tells me "access denied". hope ive made sense?

do you intend to return his drive to hist system? if so, just do so without changing
    anything.

you can get is documents using filesharing (ICS with a crossover cable would do)
