So, I really don't know much about computers, and ever since I accidentally uninstalled Soundmax I think I mightve just made everything worse. I tried a System Restore but there wasnt an early enough checkpoint to restore it to. I tried Last Known Good Configuration but that did nothing. Then out of desperation I downloaded DriverDetective. When it detected that I didnt have a driver, it installed some Realtek audio driver, and I don't even know if thats compatible with my computer. I've tried to redownload Soundmax, but it says "Driver not found! Reboot your system". I've read all of these help forums, and have tried all of the suggestions I've seen, but none of it is working. Can I use Realtek instead of Soundmax? How do I find the driver that I need?
