Acer Aspire AX1200-U1520A won't start

I have 2 Acer Aspire AX1200-U1520A and they both died almost at the same time (one month apart), neither one of the machines will start, so I took the power supply to a store and they told me it was fine. How can I find out what's wrong with the compter without having to spend a fortune on diagnostics. Don't now if it is worth sending it to a place to fix it and be charged an arm and a leg and maybe be better buying a new one.

Do they show signs of power? Lights? Fans? anything?

Those are the low profile desktops and are plagued with failing motherboards and graphics cards.
