Acer Aspire monitor problems

Hi, I have been having some technical difficulty's lately with my Acer ASPIRE's monitor. I will be watching a video, doing work or making one of my games when my monitor will go to black-and-grey lines. So far, the only way to postpone the problem is (Once Problem has occurred) to hit the CTRL-ALT-DEL keys, which will bring to the Windows 7 Options Menu. Then just close that... But it will happen again and the fix is rendered useless I then have to restart my laptop. Any ideas? Please comment!​

I am pretty sure this is a laptop, is that so? Proceed if it is a laptop.
1) Run this tool to uninstall old drivers: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/catalyst-uninstall-utility.aspx
2) Install the latest drivers from here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx

Tell me if this fixes the issue.

I am not really sure what the issue is. There is a new firmware on the driver page and a new bios. Not sure if those will help. The guys at Acer are your best bet.

Sorry I cant help. I think it is a monitor issue or the GPU is going bad.
