    Hi All,

I have a ACER Aspire 5051 with no power.
Changed the powersupply and tried it nothing doing. There is no power light lit up at all.
Any idea what i might need to check.
All the help will be appriciated.

Hard to say. Lots of power jacks have broken away from the system board in those models... Not cheap to fix, as they require a special solder and soldering technique.
If you remove the keyboard and bezel, you can generally quickly tell if the socket component is loose. Just tap it gently with a sounding rod or even a pencil.
If under warranty, get it to Acer yesterday.

It can also be a power switch module... but one would think the system would light up if the power adapter is plugged in.
