Acer won't turn on

Hey guys im new here and dont know much about computers. i have an acer aspire 9410. what happens is i hit the power button and the green led comes on for a second and goes right back off and nothing happens. ive tried taking out the battery and just using the ac power. ive also tries reseting it and have taken the memory, hard drive, and cd/dvd off. still the same thing. any suggestions?
