Solved Ad pop ups

Still getting the same pop ups. seems to be mainly chrome

Moneyrake and free dating are main two. and still get the white box ads (caused by ABP) downloaded it to get rid of the ads, but just white boxes instead now.

Just chrome I think, but dont really use anything else.

I need you to check if IE is affected as well.

IE doesn't work for some reason, but doesn't happen on firefox (which loads v. slowly).

Got IE working. doesn't seem to happen on that.

Reinstall Chrome...

• Close all Chrome windows and tabs.
• Go to the Start menu > Control Panel. (Windows 8 users: Learn how to access the Control Panel)
• Click Programs and Features.
• Double-click Google Chrome.
• Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog. Delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, by selecting the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.

Install fresh copy.

I've done so. seems ok so far. How did this happen all of a sudden? I noticed that the chrome desktop icon had changed to .net instead of chrome. what caused this so I can avoid it happening again.
