Adding more memory to graphics cards

  1. i have an ati radeon 9800pro video card and its got 128ddr ram i was wondering if its possible to add more ram or change the on board ram to 256 if so does the ram have to be specific spec of ram

    As far as I know all modern video cards don't allow expansion of ram. All I can think of it would involve a lot of soldering, forcing a bios update, all of which may not work, and if something goes wrong, it will kill your card.

    Sell your 128 on Ebay and buy a 256.
    It will save you a ton of time and energy,that you could spend playing your favorite Game.
