    Hey guys,

I've been shopping around for a decent video editing program that I can use in OSX as a one-stop-shop to merge & encode multiple clips recorded with Fraps. I've tried several different applications, but, most of the time, either the product is too expensive (>$100) or doesn't support the .avi extension on OSX. Ideally, I'm looking for something under $50 that will enable me to merge around 16 raw .avi clips into a single encoded video about 4 to 5 hours in length. Over the past month I've been using iSkysoft's Video Converter for Mac and Deluxe Media Converter trials. They work well enough, but they have a tendency to hang/crash on me following large tasks, so I've decided to hold off on purchasing a licence for a little while and, instead, tap you guys for a little information first.

    Thanks for the help!
