Aereo files complaint against CBS to stop repetitive lawsuits

  1. Pioneering streaming television service Aereo has filed a declaratory judgment action in New York against CBS in an effort to prevent the network from filing another lawsuit against them just ahead of a planned launch in Boston on May 15.

  2. So lets see. A company on their own dime will use some legal gymnastics to internet-stream CBS's free broadcast signal(including the advertisments) to anyone willing(dumb enough) to pay for it. Expanding CBS's reach and thus the value of their advertising slots at no cost or damage to CBS, and they are upset about this?!?!? What a bunch of control freaks.

    TV networks are so used to getting their own way and controlling everything that they can't see how this can be a good thing.
