Age of Empires the first 3

game work fine on win98 and xp but on win7 the graphics are real bad the oceans are purple and grainy and the grasses are yellow and green and very grainy. Age of Empires the last one works ok in win7 . any Idea on how i can get the graphics to work?

Change the compatibility mode to Windows 98 or XP.

It caused by a DirectDraw Incompatibility.

I recommend trying the "Google" first when you have a problem.
