    Hi just wonder my mate has an AGP ATI Radeon thats all the information I got. He wants to play call of duty 4 and grid but game wont start because of shader he reckons. any suggestions what graphics card he should get I only know pci express graphics card?

    Other information on your friends computer would help greatly. Basically all we know right now is that he has an AGP socket. Call of duty 4's performance doesn't just depend on the graphics card but other things like the processor.

    One of the best AGP cards out would be the 7800GS but Its pretty hard to find.

    CoD4 calls for a minimum of ATi Radeon 9800Pro or better. The card your buddy is using might not support some of the video features that the game uses. Good AGP cards are hard to find these days, one being the 7800GS, as Whif stated. My 7950GT runs CoD4 no problem but I bought it almost a year ago and I haven't seen them since.
