i recently updated my bios (which was really stupid, because i find out that updating your bios is alot of the times never really necessary and can cause problems). anyways, with my brand new video card (6800 GT), i get low FPS. i'm wondering if my AGP settings in my bios could be causing this, and if it is, how can i fix it?

Upgrading the BIOS will reset it to the default settings. Make sure the AGP is set at 8x and that your bus and processor speeds are right. You can go back to the old BIOS.

i fixed it... my mhz was set to 100 and when i would set it to 166 to boost up the ghz my computer would wouldnt boot up.. turns out one of my ram sticks was causing the problem. i took the 512 stick out and left the gig in and i was able to set it to 166 and now no more video problems! :-D
