I am looking at an older lenovo comp. I used CPU Z and got that it has an AM2 X2 4400+ in it now. I just need to know if it will support an Am2+ cpu. This is all the mobo info CPU-Z gave me.

    Northbridge ATI RS690/RS690M rev. 00
    Southbridge ATI SB600 rev. 00
    Memory Type DDR2
    Memory Size 2048 MBytes
    Channels Dual
    Memory Frequency 328.6 MHz (CPU/7)
    CAS# 5.0
    RAS# to CAS# 5
    RAS# Precharge 5
    Cycle Time (tRAS) 15
    Bank Cycle Time (tRC) 21
    Command Rate 2T

    Thank You!

Go to the Support section on Lenovos site. You should be able to look up your system by the model number. It may tell you what processors your motherboard will support and if there are any BIOS updates.
