Amazon changes logo following complaints it looks like Hitler

The complaint that Amazon looks like Hitler has to do with their book burning, cancel culture. This is what modern goose stepping looks like.

Probably like 15 years ago now. The Dixie Chicks were huge in Country music but the lead singer said something bad about GW Bush and that she was sorry he came from her state. Canceled.
If you're interested, here's the sound track to that incident:

BTW, I've always said of, "Wubbya", "if the Kennedy's had a child as "gifted" as him, old Rose would have locked him in the attic".

Even further off topic, here's the Dixie's anthem against spousal abuse:

Incidentally, Natalie Maines looks far too butch with those 'white sidewalls'.

Am I allowed to say that? :innocent:

Of course Amazon burns books. How else are they going to sell you one of those dumb a** Kindles"?

Give ya a few hints. 7 Republican Senators doing their job. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter. Now, put on your thinking cap.

Cancel culture used to go by another name. "Pointing a finger and judging Others".
And nobody is better at it than conservative Republicans.
Pointing fingers and judging others, is NOT canceling anything. It is expressing an opinion on what the person thinks is a wrong or not pleasing to them. Removing literature or films or other people's opinions is actually "canceling" something. If you feel "offended" by something, it is a "you" issue, not an actual problem with the item or words or opinion.

Everything those people ever pointed a finger at was canceled. Quit pretending.

"Amazon changes logo because some crackhead said it looks like hitler, Analysts suggest the box was actually hitlers child and it was forming a new political party in germany and no one actually knew the box wasn't human, it even managed to fool a DNA test and state of the art AI which determined the cardboard box was a human.

The FBI & CIA is asking for any witnesses to come forward regarding the walking box and have told people to stay clear and DO NOT approach said box as it may attack at any moment"

You missed your calling, concocting conspiracy theories for Q'anon.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go eat a baby for breakfast...

Wait. Just because Republican cancel culture didn't work doesn't mean they didn't try. See if cancel culture works then it works because a whoooole lot of people wanted it to.

So let's move on. Would you now like to talk about conservative republican cancel culture on the Dixie Chicks? From there we can go on to Steve Earle.

So, we can conclude that over-sensitive morons exist on both sides.

Maybe that logo is in reference to Jeff "Lex Luthor" Bezos because he really is an evil dictator.

This is nothing more than empty virtue signalling, something that is common among NeoLiberals and other false progressives. If these people actually gave a damn, they'd be protesting the horrible conditions that must be endured when working at Amazon. Whether or not the logo looks like Adolf Hitler's mustache (after applying a considerable amount of imagination) wouldn't be considered a priority until the REAL problems were addressed and solved. The substantive issues are far more important than the issues that could be best described as superficial.

If people are willing to regularly buy things from Amazon while ignoring the plight of their workers, then they're in no position to criticise anything about the company because clearly, the company is doing all that's needed to be successful at getting their business. The dollars that these people spend will always speak much louder to any business than the empty words that they use in hypocritical criticism.

This is why I've only purchased two things from Amazon and NOTHING from Wal-Mart in the past three years. I prefer to shop at Costco, a company with a CEO who treats the employees like human beings instead of machines. I refuse to be a hypocrite and I care far more about the actual business practices of a corporation than the logo that they use.

We have an ongoing pandemic. We have vast mistrust caused by opaque govenrment and media policies. We have hunger, we have underserved communities, water shortages, heavymetal pollution, energy crisis, actions from foreign nations, violent crime epidemics, and a million other problems that affect hwo we can enjoy our society.

Instead the public outcry is focused on an illustration from Dr. Seuss and a cardboard box that somehow looks like hitler because there's a rectangle on it.

If anyone asks how easy the first world has it....there you go.
this 100% LOL! It's laughable at the very least. Pathetic beyond comprehension.

If how I took The insanegamers post was correct. I was simply agreeing with how it's just sad, yet funny all at the same time, that with all the awful events happening around the world, and how truly bad some people have it in 3rd world countries.....yet hey here in America we have people making a big deal about a logo printed on a box that somehow resembles a man who died 75 some odd years ago lol. In other counties this wouldn't have even been a topic of debate :joy:

Well, then there we have it. I completely misunderstood what you meant. I truly feel like a dipshit so I hope you accept my apology.

Hey man all good! Sorry I got defensive. I'll work on elaborating more in the future. My only issue is that when I do, I typically go off the rails and stop being politically correct, and my posts get either flagged or taken down.
*looking at you mods*

I really do like controversy on occasion. It sharpens everyone's senses in my opinion. But I do jump in with both feet sometimes when I really should have done some recon first. I do get quite a few posts taken down myself. It used to make me wonder what the hell, but after I got the feel of the mods tendencies I really just shake my head now.
As an example, maybe we should stop saying dipshit, etc. and get back to the topic of Amazon and Adolph Hitler. You know something without controversy ;)

Oh yeah, if you aren't a leftist cultist then you are a right winger...
Prejudice much?
And guess what?
I'm not right winger!

I remember when people in forums were aware of fallacies and didn't tried them this openly.

Which inludes the "When the right cancels something, it is not cancel culture.". In that case the argument is for "both". But it is the left who is currently cancelling. At all speed. All happy and as we can see from the likes of you, putting poor excuses.

Accept it: is the left now the book burning, bigoted, racists, authoritarian, pro corporations and friends and defenders of all kinds of anti "human rights" elements and common extreme inmoral and criminal acts. Among others.
Frankly, I'm tired of people like you who seem to think that they have the only way.

Personally, I don't care if you are left or right. However, when you spout the left this, the left that, you sure sound like you are on the right.
Prejudice much? Hypocrite much?

Yep both feet or no feet lol. Some Forums are far worse. But then again must be moderated otherwise I suppose it typically get's way out of hand lol! Anyway yeah back on topic, or somewhat anyway I just read some news that Jeep is possibly ditching the Cherokee naming scheme. Can't say that's no surprise since so many other recent scenarios such as the Washington Redskins, Land O Lakes butter and such. Guess it's time for a social reform🤫
