AMD announces ATI Catalyst 9.7 drivers

  1. AMD has released a new set of WHQL-certified drivers today with full support for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 releases up to the just-announced RTM build. The monthly update brings the Catalyst package up to version 9.7 and promises the highest gaming performance as well as improved compatibility.

    I doubt you will get performance boosts in WoW at this point, the game has been around for so long that it's been optimized to the max on current and older generation hardware.

    WoW is not taxing on hardware either, at least by today's or even last year's standards.
