AMD Dual Core Optimizer

  1. Gday

    I have just downloaded the AMD Dual Core Optimizer V1. from your downloads section.

    I would just like to confirm it is suitable for win2k?

    I think you mean version: 1.1.2 from TechSpot Downloads section
    I've also been able to find version 1.1.4 from here: Dual-Core Optimizer

    From the ReadMe Document:

    ---System Requirements---

    * Microprocessor: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Processors

    This software installs and operates under the following operating systems
    * Microsoft® Windows® XP
    * Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
    * Microsoft Windows Server 2003 32-bit

    That is why I am asking the question does V1.2 work on Win2k, I am aware that V1.4 will not.

    The last thing I want is a system crash, I have just reinstalled the OS, and put in a new graphics card, that is tending to be laggy.

    I am hoping that this AMD Dual Core Optimizer might help fix this problem

    Chances are, if the newer version does not support it, the older version probably won't either.

    Hello guys,
    I have some question about optimizer. AMD optimizer does work on Intel's CPU ? If didn't could you help me for finding some program just like AMD optimizer but for intel :((
