  1. My computer currently has an AMD V140 processor (Single Core) that runs at 25 Watts. I want to upgrade it to a Turion II (Dual core) that runs at 35 Watts. I want to know if this will be a problem especially since I am running a Toshiba, Which are known to run a little on the hot side to start with

Have you checked that the motherboard is compatible with a dual core processor. An additional 10 Watts should not be a problem but the extra heat might be although that may be overcome by using a cooling pad.

What is the model of the PC.
