another damn BSOD issue

Hi folks, just thought I'd drop this problem in here to see if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how to solve it, because i'm stumped.
I recently moved. I took my PC along to the apartment I'm now in. It was working fine playing games and then I got the internet hooked up on Thursday. Things were OK until I turned on Azureus, a bit torrent program, and I got a blue screen with one of these somewhat common "irql_not_less_or_equal" errors. I wasn't sure what was going on, I blamed Azureus, so I kept it off for a while to see if the problem persisted. Though not as quick, the blue screen did appear. I've installed the latest Windows updates.
In my Event Viewer it says, "Error code 100000d1, parameter1 1400574d, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 b638c2fc."

I immediately blamed the new modem for my troubles since my computer connected fine at my house before I moved and I had Azureus running almost constantly. A friend of mine checked it out and is quite certain this is the error: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925922/en-us and tells me the modem has nothing to do with it, but I just don't know. Does anybody have any ideas?
